Playing alongside of AI just gives your experience a more epic and immediate feel. One thing I've loved in some recent shooters has been the team aspect. Regardless of the percentage completion, it was shown in working form for the first time at the event much to my excitement. The single player portion of the game is still a ways off and in fact has is in a pre-alpha state. There'll be no undead to suck the bullets out of your gun this time around, but you can still expect that dark Indian Jones type feel as you see the sights and cruise the crypts of North Africa. One thing you won't have to worry about are those annoying zombies that present no challenge and waste all of your bullets. He'll be bringing along several of his highly trained friends to assist in the fight against the evil Nazi occult menace. BJ Blaskowitz makes his return to the franchise that made him a hero, only this time he's not alone. There's a lot changed in both aspects of the game. After getting hands-on with the multiplayer and seeing the single player walkthrough, it's easy to see why this has moved above and beyond an expansion. Enemy Territory is the first expansion to Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but has managed to turn into something more than just an expansion and has now become a stand-alone addition to the franchise using the Quake III engine. So naturally, we all grabbed a beer, some food and then prepared to enter into the contest ourselves. By the time we had finished setting up the site for publish and made our way to the event, it was already in full swing and full of people shooting each other with abandon.
